Condition
The colours in the catalogue illustration are representative of the painting. The canvas has been relined but the relining is loose and has a purpose-cut hole through which the inscription on the original canvas can be seen. The paint surface is somewhat abraded in areas and under a thick varnish. Som scattered retouchings are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light reveals quite extensive retouchings and scattered restored holes and tears. Offered unframed.
