Condition
The painting is much cooler in tone and less pink than the image in the catalogue illustration. The painting has been relined and cleaned. Some abrasion is present in the clouds. There is some strengthening in the figures and in the details The picture is ready to hang and is offered in a later ebonised ripplewood frame in good condition.
