Condition

The canvas has been relined which is visible to the upper edge. There is some frame abrasion to the upper corners and to the left edge. There is some very fine craquelure to the figure's face and further patches elsewhere which are only visible upon close inspection. Otherwise in good overall condition. Ultra violet light reveals some tiny specs of paint loss to the figure's face and a varnish. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
