Condition

The support is composed of four horizontal panels which are bevelled along the edges and stable. The two middle panels are stabilised by two supportive blocks. The paint surface is sound and secure. The panel joins are visible, particularly along the right-hand side of the painting, and there has been some retouching along these joins. Inspection under UV light some further scattered retouchings. Offered in a later wood and plaster frame which has suffered some minor chips and paint losses.
