Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is generally secure with cracquelure and some scattered paint losses, mostly along the edges and probably due to frame abrasion. The thick and somewhat yellowed varnish impedes satisfactory inspection under UV light although some scattered retouchings do fluoresce. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame which has some paint losses and minor chips.
