Condition
The painting is warmer and less contrasted than the catalogue illustration. The canvas has been relined and does not appear to have suffered any major damages. The paint surface, which is covered in layer of slightly discoloured varnish, is in excellent condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals only a coupl of minor spots of restoration.
Offered in a gilt plaster frame in good condition, a couple of minor chips.
