Condition
The panel has a vertical split to the reverse butt has been rejoined and is secured by a horizontal batten. The paint surface is now secure and under a thick dirty varnish but scattered previous losses have been retouched. Inspection under UV light confirms this and further scattered retouchings, particularly along the panel joins. Offered in a later carved wooden frame in fair condition.
