Condition
The support consists of two horizontal panels joined together by dovetails on the reverse. The paint surface is secure with some very minor frame abrasion and a minor horizontal crack of approx 3 cm lower left. There is a minor restored paint loss of approx 0.5 cm in diameter below the maid's left foot. Inspection under UV light reveals minor scattered retouchings, notably along the left edge where the two panels join and to the darker areas. Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame with some losses to the lower right corner.
