Restitution of the painting to the heirs of Mr. Hirsch in 2007.
Condition
The canvas has a firm relining. The paint surface is secure and under a dirty varnish. Scattered discoloured retouchings are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light reveals further scattered retouchings and a restored horizontal tear of aprox 10 cm centre left and a small restored damage 1 cm by 1 cm to the centre of the sky. Offered in a modern new wooden frame in good condition.
