Description

  • A still life with grapes, pears and a watermelon in a bowl over a ledge
  • oil on canvas, unlined

Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is substantially abraded and there are scattered retouchings visible to the naked eye. There is a patched restored hole lower right of 4 by 2 cms and some frame abrasion. Inspection under UV light reveals further retouchings and strengthenings. Offered in a carved gilt wood frame.
