Condition
The canvas has a firm relining. The paint surface is now secure and under a thick varnish, but has been somewhat abraded over time. Scattered retouchings are visible to the naked eye and further retouchings along a horizontal canvas seem. Thorough inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish. Offered in an elaborately carved gilt wood frame with some knocks.
