Good overall condition. The canvas has been relined (a bit strong). Under ultraviolet light: Under an irregular green varnish. There is a small restoration on the left side of the composition, under the bordeaux drapery. Part of the young woman dress and the legs of the man lying down in the lower left corner have been restored. There are other small scattered retouches in the mane of the central horse and along the red drapery, as well as around the horseman face and the mane of his mount on the right. Some thin restorations along the edges in the lower right corner, probably due to the frame stress marks. Some dots of repaint in the background and the foliage upper left.
