Woodcut, 1899, printed in brown and orange, a rare impression of Woll's second (final) state, signed in pencil, on fine japan paper, with wide margins, in good condition apart from slight mount-staining, some overall cockling to the sheet and minor creasing mostly at edges of sheet

Condition

In overall good condition. Due to the tissue thin japan paper the signature appears faint. Please note the description of the colours printed in the catalogue.

Catalogue Note

Woll records impressions printed in brown and red, and although it's possible that the red has faded to orange the intensity of the orange suggests that this impression was in fact printed in orange and brown.
