Offset lithograph printed in colours, 1965, signed in pencil, from the edition of unknown size, published by Leo Castelli Gallery, New York, on smooth wove paper, with full margins, in good condition except the lower image with a small puncture and a scrape measuring approximately 25mm, the red ink at bottom slightly mottled by damp staining, the upper sheet with a soft diagonal crease running the width of the print, the sheet glued to the mount at the lower left and right sheet corners
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued; the colors are bright and it presents itself well. The puncture to the right of the sun itself measures 5 mm and the scrape at left measures 1 inch. The red ink in the lower sheet is mottled most likely do to damp stain. There is a gentle diagonal crease running the width of the print (in the top 1/3 of the sheet), with occasional shorter creases at the sheet edges and margins not generally extending into the image. The sheet is tipped to the mount at lower left and right (apparently with adhesive) and the upper sheet corners verso have remains of adhesive recto with associated discoloration slightly visible on the verso. .
