Lithograph with extensive hand-colouring in crayon, 1954, signed in red crayon and dedicated Pour Paule, a proof aside from the numbered edition of 50, on Arches wove paper, with wide margins, in good condition except the signature and dedication slightly faded, a few small fox marks (mainly in the margins and on the verso), the sheet edges with pale mount-staining recto and remains of adhesive verso
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued and the hand-coloring is extensive. The signature and dedication are slightly faded. Fox marks are visible in the center of the left and right margins and in the lower margin at left, with continued scattered foxing on the verso. The sheet has been adhered to the front mount with masking tape along all sheet edges and exposure to the acidic mat has slightly darkened the sheet edges recto.
