Etching, 1933, from the Vollard Suite, signed in pencil, from the total edition of 303, on Montval laid paper, with the Picasso watermark, with full margins, in good condition apart from pale mount-staining, slight backboard-staining
Condition
The work is overall good condition. There is a small handling crease to the right shoulder of the figure on the left. The mentioned mount-staining is stronger in a thin band where the inner edge of the mount would have sat. There is slight discoloration at the extreme edges of the sheet. The mentioned slight backboard staining. A small rectangle of discoloration to the extreme lower left edge of sheet verso probably associated with previous hinging.
