Aquatint and etching, 1915, a richly-inked impression of the ninth (final) state, signed in pencil and numbered 32/100, printed by Leblanc and Trautmann, published by Marcel Guiot, Paris, 1929, on japan paper, with wide margins, in good condition apart from a few flattened creases at right, the right and left sheet edges with remains of adhesive, pale light-staining

Condition

The print is in good condition as catalogued and is a richly inked impression with a veil of dark tone in the background. The aforementioned creases are flattened and unobtrusive, visible mainly along the right sheet edge and extending just into the image. There are two short diagonal broken creases at upper left corner of sheet and other short fine creases along edges of sheet. Adhesive remains exist along the length of the right sheet edge verso and the upper left sheet edge verso, likely due to prior hinging/binding. Pale light-stain has slightly darkened the paper tone and there is minor time-stain along the left and right sheet edge. Slight surface dirt along the edges of sheet.
