Two screenprints in colours, 1980, both signed in pencil, numbered 6/200, printed by Rupert Jasen Smith, published by Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, Inc. New York; Jonathan A Editions, Tel Aviv, Israel, on Lenox Museum Board, the full sheets, in good condition apart from martin buber with a short broken crease along lower left edge of sheet and at upper left corner of sheet with associated pigment loss, a broken crease with pigment loss in upper left of image above the hair, a diagonal soft crease in upper right corner of sheet, slight scuffing mainly along the edges of sheet, a short vertical scratch at lower edge of sheet, the blue slightly attenuated, slight areas of bloom in lower image, scattered foxing verso, louis brandeis with slight handling creases in corners of sheet, a horizontal broken crease above outline of head, slight scuffing mainly along edges of sheet, slight surface dirt mainly along lower edges of sheet
Condition
Martin Buber (F. &S 228) In good condition as catalogued. The mentioned broken crease along lower left edge of sheet measures 50mm. The diagonal crease in upper left corner of sheet measures 22mm. The broken crease in the upper left of image measures 55mm. There is a fine broke crease at the edge of the hair measuring 40mm. There is slight bloom mainly on the forehead and slight marks associated with trapped moisture in the frame to the left of his right eye.
Louis Brandeis (F. &S. 230) In good condition as catalogued The mentioned handling creases in the corners are fine and with very slight pigment loss. The longest measuring 43mm. The broken crease below the outline of the head measures 80mm. There is surface dirt (dust?) along lower left corner of sheet and along the lower edge of the sheet below the signature. There are 3 pin head-size specks of dirt to the right of the mouth.
