Condition
Attached to mount around edges, to show verso (framed so both sides visible). Within main image, one or two very minor stains in sky, center right, and one or two slight abrasions, top left. Otherwise very good and fresh. Sold in modern frame.

Catalogue Note
The verso, divided into one large vertical compartment and two smaller ones, displays: 'Het dorp uan Betecum', a view of the village centre, with the church of St. Laurent, the walled cemetery and the river Laak running nearby; the smaller views show a small parcel of land and a pond, both owned by the duc d'Aarschot.
