Catalogue Note

The first information we have on Felice Brusasorci comes from Vasari, who describes him as a promising young artist.  He received his early training from his father Domenico and then spent time in Florence, returning there several times in the course of his life.  The present drawing shows influences from both Verona and from central Italy.
