  • study of drapery on a kneeling female figure seen from behind, her sketched head turned to the right in profile
  • Black chalk heightened with white chalk on faded gray-green paper;
    bears number top left: 11 upside down

Condition

Paper faded. One repair on the verso with beige modern paper, covering a small hole at the centre left of the drawing. One small tear at the lower margin. Tiny stain-like dots scattered at the top. Creases and surface dirt and some rubbing of the chalk. Was once laid down on a canvas, remains of old glue visible on the verso. Not in good condition.
