Condition

Unframed. The sheet is rather faded and a little yellowed. There are some small isolated fox marks and little abrasion to each corner. Also a small light brown stain in the upper left corner.

The gate depicted in this view may be the Porta Pinciana, Rome, as depicted by Herman van Swanevelt in two drawings which are both in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.1
