Condition
The copper plate has started to buckle and crack a little upper centre and has been cradled to the reverse. The paint surface is secure with some very minor scattered losses and some frame abrasion along the edges. The varnish is dirty. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings. Overall the painting is in fair condition and would benefit from a clean. Offered in a plain northern wood frame in fair condition.
