Venetian School, 18th Century

The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface is dirty and overall in a good state. There are some scattered small holes and losses, lower right, left of the shoulder and in the beard, and an area of blistered paint in the neck area. There is an old damage lower centre which has been patched to the reverse. Offered in a modern gilt wood frame with metal corner mounts.
