Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure although somewhat abraded in the background and under a thick dirty varnish. Scattered retouchings are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light confirms these and shows a horizontal area of restoration to the saint's beard. Offered in a carved gilt wood frame.
