Description

  • a forest floor still life with horse chestnuts, peaches, grapes, a bird's nest and a lizard

Condition

The support consists of two horizontal uncradled panels supported by two vertical batons. There is a somewhat uneven vertical bow. There is a fresh loss at the centre left and an area of retouching to the right of the red grapes but the paint surface is otherwise in very good condition. Sold with a gilt wood frame, some losses.
