Condition
The support is composed of two horizontal panels secured to the reverse by a strip of canvas. It is unclear whether this was always the case or if the panel has split subsequently into two pieces.
The paint surface is generally sound but fairly abraided in areas, in particular in the background and table.
Scattered, somewhat discoloured, retouchings are visible to the naked eye, notably alon the panel join/split and further scattered retouchings are revealed under UV light.
