- possible remains of signature on the unfolded paper lower right

Condition
The canvas has a firm relining which has slightly flattened the paint surface. The paint surface is secure but thin in areas. Inspection under UV light reveals some scattered retouchings and strengthenings and some localised more extensive areas of retouching to the darker areas of the background. Offered in a modern carved wood Northern style frame.
