The canvas has been relined.
The paint surface is secure and under a very dirty varnish.
There is a very minor paint loss along the right edge. There is a small area of restoration upper centre in the sky.
Thorough inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish but the most recent scattered retouchings do fluoresce.
Offered in a modern black and gold painted wood frame in fair condition.
