Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is quite thin, with some scattered losses to the upper and lower edges, and is under a dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish but scattered retouchings do fluoresce, and there is a small area of restoration centre right. The painting would benefit from some restoration. Offered in a modern gilt wood frame which is quite rubbed.
