Condition

The copper plate is a little buckled and is cradled to the reverse. The paint surface is secure with its original impasto and under a thick dirty varnish. There are scattered retouchings and strengthenings visible, although inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish. Offered in a wood and plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
