Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in generally good condition. There are small areas of abbrasion and paint loss overall and there has been some retouching to the paint surface along the central stretcher support. The canvas is also spotted in areas with small dots of residue dirt.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a thick layer of discoloured varnish which obscures further examination.

Held in a carved and gilded wood frame.
