Condition

The canvas is unlined. There is apatch on the reverse of the canvas to support a corresponding restored hole to the sitter's left eye. The paint surface is secure and under a dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings. There is a small paint loss upper left. Offered in a wood and plaster frame with some knocks.
