Exhibited

The former probably exhibited in the Académie in 1773 (no. 146 Loth & ses Filles, 17 pouces de large, sur 14 pouces de haut).

Condition

Both panels are flat, stable and bevelled. The paint surfaces are secure with fine craquelure throughout. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings. Overall however the paintings are in fairly good condition and are ready to hang. Offered in matching carved gilt wood frames in fair condition.
