- a set of four, all oil on canvas laid on board, formerly framed as ovals
Condition
All four canvases are laid on board. The paintings are slightly lighter than they appear in the catalogue illustration. All four are under a dirty varnish.
The first painting has two restored tears to the upper centre as visible in the catalogue illustration.
Thourough inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish but some scattered retouchings are apparent.
Offered in gilt wood frames with some knocks.
