Condition
The canvas in unlined. The paint surface is clean and secure with fine craquelure throughout and retains much of its original impasto. Inspection under UV light reveals several areas of retouching, notably to the hair and the shadows to the left of his arm. There is an area of restoration 4cm squared above his right nipple.
Offered in a wood frame with some knocks.
