Condition

The canvas has been recently relined. The paint surface is secure though some areas of abrasion are apparent. The painting has quite recently been cleaned and restored: a small restored tear is present lower centre and inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings and strengthenings in the outlines. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame some knocks.
