Condition
The canvas has been relined.
The paint surface is generally secure although somewhat abraided in areas and under a dirty varnish. There is a very small paint loss of approx 1cm squared in the left edge 5 cm from the top edge.
Although inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish some areas of retouching, particularly to the sky do flouresce.
Offered in a carved gilt wood frame in fair condition.
