Condition

Old lining. An unrepaired tear at center left; an unrepaired pucture at upper center and another smaller one at upper left; a larger unrepaired tear at lower right. Generally, the surface is very pressed and thin, particularly in the sky, where the dark ground is showing through. Soiled surface. Under UV light: the main figures in foreground with very fine touch-ups to flesh areas. Several small to large repairs with inpainting, the largest being at the center left, across the bearded man's head.
