Catalogue Note

Unusual compilation of the maps and views, only, from Magna Britannia, a history of the English counties, published in parts from 1714 to 1731. Although compiling the text took 18 years, the maps were all available at the start of the project, and it is assumed that this compilation was sold early in the project to raise capital.
