Catalogue Note

A good collection of first and early editions. One of Handel's most important works, Rinaldo was the first opera that the young Hanoverian Kapellmeister wrote for London, opening at the Queen's Theatre on 24 February 1711. Contemporary editions of it are rare at auction.
