Catalogue Note
Rare. We have no record of this first edition appearing at auction. This is a fine large production, the first of Ricordi's editions of Verdi's Italian operas to appear in upright format. It was still designed for sale as separate numbers with "concert endings" for some numbers. This seems to be an early issue with few cancels.
