Catalogue Note
Rare. Only one copy is known to Haberkamp (British Library), two copies to RISM (Washington, Library of Congress and Leipzig, Städtische Bibliotheken, Musikbibliothek). K.360 was published by Bossler in the series Archiv der auserlesensten Musikalien 3-4tes Stük [sic], the fourth item being K.360, the third being E.A. Förster's variations on a theme from the last movement of Mozart's Violin Sonata in F, K.377 (374e). As Haberkamp (p.156) explains, the Artaria edition, formerly believed to predate the Bossler edition, is now reckoned to have been published after it.
