Catalogue Note
of great rarity. We have not traced a copy of the first edition, first issue, of Mozart's operatic masterpiece at auction since the sale in these rooms on 17 May 1990 (lot 177).
Only two copies of the first issue are recorded by Haberkamp, one in the Sächsische Landesbibliothek in Dresden and the other in the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
