Containing arias, songs and dances by Le Marchand himself, and other works by Handel ("Sigr Hendel"), Rameau, Geminiani and many others, with autograph title laid out as if for publication: "Recueil d'Ariettes et autres Airs pour le Tambourin..."), 125 pages, 8vo (19 x 14cms), contemporary decorated calf, gilt edges, Paris, 1761

Catalogue Note
The tambourin was long, narrow, double-headed drum from Provence. This is an extraordinary and rare collection: we have no record of any similar manuscript (especially of such an early date) being offered for sale at auction.
