Description

  • Autograph manuscript of a vocal trio, signed at the end ("Salieri")
scored for two tenors and bass, notated in brown ink on two-stave systems, 38 bars in all, consisting of a refrain ("La la la...") and two verses ("Lode alla compagnia, si viva in allegria...Credimi pure amico, la verita ti dico..."), with autograph tempo marking and a few autograph corrections, from the collection of aloys fuchs, with his autograph label and signature on fol. 1r ("Originale di Antonio Salieri...Terzett in Partitur...Aus der Sammlung des Aloys Fuchs in Wien (1840)")  



2 pages on two leaves, the second leaf cut down from a larger one, both leaves laid down on paper, 27.5 x 20.7cm (leaf one) and 18 x 20.3cm (leaf two), [probably Vienna, no date]
