Condition

Catalogue illustration has slightly bleached the colour, which is closer overall to the goldedn colour which appears in the forground of the catalogue. Surface has several nicks, dents and irregularities inherent in the making of the piece. The interior has a dark brown patina. Piece has acquired a slightly dull surface rather than the polished finish which the piece would have had when made. This could easily be restored with polishing.
