Condition

Overall in very good condition. The top surface of the table has a slightly shiny applied later finish. With minor scratches to table top. The metal feet with scattered losses to finish, scratches, piting and minor spots of corrosion.

Catalogue Note

Only a few examples of this table were produced.  One appears in the library of the Assembly Hall at Chandigarh, another was in the home of Pierre Jeanneret and a few examples were in the homes of friends and employees.  In France, examples in variant woods have been found, including one in Le Corbusier's Paris home on the rue Nungesser-et-Coli, and another in the home of Lucien Hervé, Le Corbusier's official photographer.
