This work appears to be in generally good overall condition. There are some traces of threadlike stable craquelures particularly by the yellow and black pigment. There are some slight traces of soiling along the lower left border and by the centre of the right border. No traces of retouching appear to be under UV light.

"All'inizio degli anni Cinquanta la ricerca di Prampolini è in rapporto con l'area del M.A.C., il Movimento Arte Concreta, e con il parallelo francese Groupe Espace. Indubbiamente partecipa di una tale ripresa di continuità di tradizione rispetto alla situazione dell'"arte concreta" fra le due guerre, nel segno di una costruttività non-figurativa, che tuttavia egli intende in termini non appunto di concettualizzazione formale, idealizzata, quanto di pragmatismo costruttivo di situazioni di rapporti di forme-colore dinamicamente precari e relativi."
