Condition
The painting is in good condition. The canvas is also in good condition and its surface is taut.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some slight retouching to the general area, primarily on the upper right, middle right, lower right, and lower middle. The other ones are small or tiny flecks scattered around the background and not on the main figure, except for a few minor ones on the sarong. Restoration is only visible under ultraviolet light.
The paint layers and impastos are intact and in stable condition.
